Teachers from North Rhine Westphalia |
visited their Palestinian Partners
|
Five German teachers had the opportunity to visit Palestine, where the staff and pupils of their partner schools live. The teachers went to schools in Hebron, Ramallah and Nablus. They got an impression of the environment, the lifestyle and what it means to live in a refugee camp in Palestine.
Furthermore, they met the partner teachers in school where they devised topics and decided on schedules for the next virtual mini-projects. The mini-projects will be carried out with the students in this school term via the School Twinning Programme.
During their stay they met the Minister of Education and her team. The Minister is encouraged by the STP programme and is giving it her support.
The visit was funded by the state government of North Rhine Westphalia.
